A blast room consists of an enclosure generally fabricated or brick wall construction, that prevents fine abrasive material from entering the outside air and a system designed to reclaim abrasive/ blasting media. After the leftover abrasive is recovered, it is moved to a recovery system that separates dust from the leftovers so the high-quality abrasives can be reused.
Blast room consist of
Blast Enclosure :
its designed based on the job size and its movement
Blasting Machine :
Portable Abrasive blasting machines are used. Based on blasting output need, numbers of machines are placed outside the enclosure and blast hose with blast nozzle are carried inside the room to perform the blasting operation.
Abrasive recovery system :
Screw conveyor, Pneumatic Recovery Hopper or Belt conveyor system is used to collect the left over particles. Then it will be carried to Abrasive screening for segregation of usable and Non-usable particles.
Dust Collector :
Suitable dust collector is designed based on volume of room & Air change per minutes. Cyclone dust collector with Fabric bag, pleated bag or Cartridges is used to control the dust pollution.
Job Handling System :
Battery operated trolleys are used for the easy movement of job in & out of the room.
